I think the most important invention is the steam engine that just uses steam to make power and then make machine work. The first steam engine was invented by Thomas Savery in 1698. But it was not popular until 1712. It has some positive advantages in the following. The important reason is that it has been used to transport appliances, for example, steam rocket in the space, steam locomotive in the rail, steam car in the road and so on. Anther reason is that it can save worker's energy.

When I am close to the final exam, I am not afraid of doing exam, I am just scared that whether I might pass or fail the exams. I do not want to my mother to be depressed, because I can not receive her expectation. I was longing to gain my mother's encouragement and care.

How to make dumplings

We always eat dumplings in special festival. I will introduce the ways of making dumplings. Firstly, vegetable which you like is cut to make it tiny. The best one is broken to pieces. Next, this tiny vegetable and minced meat which can be sold in supermarket are mixed in a big dish. Then salt, soy sauce and aginomoto are added to the mixture, and mixed well. Finally, you can use dumpling wrapper to fill for the mixture, and you can make beautiful shapes.

three-wheel cart

When I was a young, the happiest and most important memory is that my grandfather use three-wheel cart to pick my brother and I up to school that is far away about 2kilometers, because we lived at countryside and school was in the city, there was less buses passing countryside, when the scientific machine was not popular. Whether it was rain or hot or not, my grandfather all picks up us to school, so when I was in the street, I saw children was picked up by old people on cart, and I always remind of my grandfather.

I get up at 9:50 every morning.I wear my clothes and shoes,and then brush my teeth and wash my face.I have a breakfast at 8:40 in the dinning room.After I eat meal,I go back to my room and put my room in order.I always go outside to wait for the bus at 9:20 and then get on the bus at about 9:23.I have never missed the bus.I arrive at the International Student Center at about 9:45.I read some books until other people arrive.I go to class between 10:00 and 13:00 in every weekday.I go to my friend's documents to have lunch.And then go on going to class until have a break.I go back to Oadby by bus every afternoon.I may do my homework,may be watch movies,may be listen a music.It is not certain.I sometimes fall asleep at 12:00 o"clock.This is my habits.

Since I was in Leicester, I have studied English Language Preparation three mouths.I find my confidence again. I am not afraid of doing something by myself.I fact,I can understand other people' word. There are three girls in class, and they all is my friends. One is a Joanna, who is always serious, but when she is happy, she also is a friendly girl. Sometimes, I sared her, because she looks like my mother who is very serious and I have a bad relationship with . Anther is a Tracy, who has long hair and big eyes. If you have two weeks to visit China, I would recommend that you can be divided into two parts.

Personally, I would recommend visiting the capital of China, Beijing which is really worth seeing. Beijing has approximately 5000 years old. Beijing has been an important trading city from earliest days. Although Beijing is full of modern and fashionable now, it survived some historic scenery, as Beijing' Hutong---lane, courtyard, the Forbidden City, the Great Wall, the Summer Palace and so on,and historic culture, for example, tea, Peking Opera, architecture.

You should definitely stroll in the Beijing' Hutong---lane and courtyard in two days, and then listen to Peking Opera, have a tea in free time in the tea room. Secondly, you can visit the Forbidden City which contains over ten thousand rooms, it is full of noble and ancient Chinese culture in next two days, but I wouldn't recommend visiting every room, you can just walking and visiting. It has been lived and ruled by thirty-four emperors. Thirdly, you can also climb the Great Wall in two days. The Great Wall has about 6，700 kilometers.It is one of the Eight Wonders in the world.Finally, you should definitely visit the Summer Palace in the rest day. The summer Palace is the largest and the best preserved of the imperial gardens in China.It covers an area of 290 hectares，and has halls，pavilions，corridors and bridges almost everywhere.

My Local Phone

I hold a nice phone which is belong to Sony Erisson Company. I bought the local mobile phone card of 3 store, it serves 9 pound per month and you must keep paying last 18 months. After I applied this service, I can get a free phone which I just introduce above. It has a black body and bright screen, the most important things is that this phone is totally English. That means I cannot just rely on my mother language. It must can improve my simple English. That's also a reason why I bought this phone.It just can receive test in English, so I have to test a message in English. Although I feel bored, it can improve my English.

Last week, I have read a book that is A memory of Geisha. I had some questions in that time, so I saw film in this week.

Now, I will introduce the story. The female leading role was a girl who was called Qian Dai, has grey and wet eyes that look like weep. This week, I have read a story that is Beauty Black. It is a famous book about describe horse's life in the nineteenth century.

The leading character is a horse that is called Beauty Black. She has thin neck, beautiful tail and strong hoof.When she was young, she lived in the noble family, so she has done good exercise. She is meek, intelligent smart and innocent. But her master has a problem, he has to sell the horse. What is more, she is sold again and again. She has faced kinds of people in trades, for example, one person that loves drinking too much hit the horse, One person always uses the strap, some people look the horse as family and so on. She lives very hard, it is luckily at last, she has a good master that has hurt her.

The author uses horse to describe the horse's poor conditions and hopes people protect the animals. She said how can we treat the animal, and then animal also use the same attitude to treat us.

tired weekend

I joined my friend's birthday on Friday. He looks like my big brother and always helps me, when I am in a bad situation. He always says sorry or thanks to me and I don't know why he said it for me. So maybe he is very gentle with good manners. We celebrated until midnight. I continued taking part in friend's birthday's party on Saturday. We ate hot pot that is delicious in the evening. I made some new friends at the party. They are very cute, I like them, and then I spent all night watching movies until 9 o'clock the second day, so I had to sleep on the Sunday. I went to bed late on Sunday, so I was tired on the third day. I had to do my homework and prepare lessons. It was very terrible. What is more, I could not sleep until the second day at approximately 3 o'clock, so today , I am getting tired.

We all belong to one town.But we have two dialects in one town. So my grandfather said it, I always look for relatives to translate it.

tired weekend

We spent the whole of the night watching a film on Friday.We watched a horror film, and then two friends wanted to sleep. However the host was tired too, so we changed place to go on watching movies. We watched movies until daylight,but I slept earlier than the people that continued watching films. Although I slept early, it me made me tired. I almost slept all of the weekend. I think I can not spend time like this.

It is worth writing that it is bank's things. Last term, i asked application with bank letter, and opened a bank right now. This my first time went to bank. After about a week, the bank sent me a letter told me that they had forgotten to copy my passport. Then I went to bank and compeleted this process. This was my second time went to bank.I dis pressed with it. This term, I found the address is wrong in the bank letter. So I had to bank check and correct my address.This was my third time.So thus is my two gloomy things.

It is worth rejoicing that bank'service. They are so kind and patient. They were not bored with me and report again and again, until I can understand the meaning. The last time to go to bank. My friend com paned with me .So I am happy.

boring experience

I moved my accommodation at last week. But when I arranged this process,I did not draw a attention on letter with confirm my address. So I go to Accommodation Office to ask for a leeter.But she said I had picked it next day and printed my library card.Next day, I go to Accommodation Office again.I picked letter.Then, I go to Oadby to return my old accomodation's key.But it was closed.I missed it.On Washday, after I went to Police Station, I went to Oadby again. But the people did not have key to return my deposit. So I went to again.On Thursday, I asked for leave early and went to Oadby third time.Eventually, Iam successful to bring back my key.
