Nelson Mandela who is the famous politician in the world, was born in Qunu, in South Africa, in 1918. Because of special reasons, he was arrested and was released from prison after 27 years in 1990. He suffered some miseries, and there were some big changes in his life. He won the Nobel Peace Prize and shared with President De Klark, in the same year. It was worth pleasing. He became first democratically elected president of South Africa in 1994. What's more, during his time in this situation, he actively took part in the African National Congress and strove for apartheid, which means separate from black and white people. Finally, he retired from politics in 2004. He came back to Qunu, where he was born. To sum up, he became the most famous statesman in the world and it is worth priding.
